How to cancel your Direct Debit via The Newt app

If you no longer want a payment to be automatically taken when your membership expires, ensure you cancel the direct debit at least 10 days before your membership renewal date. 



Please contact your bank and request that they cancel the scheduled payment to The Newt in Somerset. 



Step 1

Log in to your app and click on your membership card.


Step 2

Scroll down and click 'Manage Renewal'.

Step 3

Select 'Cancel plan'




Please let us know when you have cancelled this via [email protected] with your name, email address and last 4 digits of the card you used for the payment.



If you complete this a few days before or on the day of renewal, the payment will still go through and your direct debit for the following year will be cancelled instead. We do not offer refunds for direct debits payments.
