Why is my membership showing as pending?

Your membership may show as pending while the direct debit set up is awaiting approval by your bank. This can take 5 working days but rest assured, you can visit The Newt while the membership is pending.


If it continues to show as pending, please refresh The Newt app. 


To refresh the app, simply log out via the 'Profile' screen and log back in again.

Please ensure you have the latest version of the app by searching for The Newt in the App or Google Play store. 


Tap the 'Update' button. If you have the updated version already, it will show as 'Open' instead.
