How to change membership when renewing on The Newt App

If you would like to renew your membership but change which membership you would like for the next year, please follow our guide below. 

Step 1

Open The Newt App and just below your membership card, click 'renew membership'.

Step 2

Please select the payment type you would like - either Direct Debit or Card Payment. Selecting Direct Debit will automatically renew after a year and every year thereafter. Click continue.

Step 3

It is at this stage that you can change the type of membership you would like. You do this by selecting 'change', located next to the membership type you are renewing. 

Step 4

Choose a different membership type. Please read the description of each membership type to ensure it is the right one for you. Click continue. 

Please note:

If you have selected Joint Membership, this is for 2 visitors, therefore you will be asked the First and Last names of each of the Joint Membership visitors. Click Save Visitors. 

Step 5

It will ask you to confirm the payment type you would like for the new membership type - either Direct Debit or Card Payment. Selecting Direct Debit will automatically renew after a year and every year thereafter. Click continue.

Step 6

If you are happy with the Newt Membership type, amount of adults and payment method, please click 'Continue'. 

Step 7

Fill in your payment details and once you are happy, click 'Pay' to finalise your purchase. 

Step 8

Your Newt Membership has been renewed and changed, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
