How to buy and share your membership in the app

You can now share your membership whilst purchasing your Newt Membership. Please see below our step-by-step help article on how to do this.

Step 1

Open the app and select 'Membership' located on The Newt card on the home page.

Step 2

Click on 'Buy Membership'.

Step 3

Select which type of Newt Membership you would like to purchase, scroll down and click 'Continue'.

Step 4

Enter how many people you would like this Newt Membership to be valid for and click 'Continue'.

Please purchase a Joint Membership if you are two adults that share the same address. 

Step 5

Enter your details to create a Newt account and scroll down and click 'Create an account'. Otherwise, please click 'Sign in' if you have already used The Newt online shop before.

Step 6

Please fill in the information of all visitors, making sure to add their email address if you would like them to be able to access their memberships on their own device and click 'Save visitors'.

Step 7

Select whether you want to pay via Direct Debit which will auto-renew your Newt Membership after one year or pay for a one-off payment and click 'Continue'.

Step 8

This page shows your order details and allows you to change your Newt Membership selection and your payment selection. If your details are correct and you are happy to proceed, please click 'Continue'.

Step 9

Fill in your payment details and click 'Pay'. Once your payment is successful, click the 'View in Account' button.

Step 10

An email will be sent to the other named member to claim their membership so that they can view it on their device. Just follow the steps in this email to be able to access the membership.
