General Day Visit FAQs

Modified on Mon, 4 Aug at 4:58 PM

We kindly ask that picnics are not enjoyed on the Estate. Thank you for your understanding.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, ball games including tennis balls, footballs, and any other type of ball game are kindly prohibited on the Estate.

Scooters, bikes, and cycles are not permitted on the Estate, but may be left at the gatehouse or in the bike racks located in the VA car park.

Children aged 17 and under are admitted free of charge.

Please note that the electric vehicle charging point in the Garden car park operates via an independent app and is not managed by The Newt.

If guests are unable to book exhibits via the app, it is likely because those sessions are currently fully booked. We appreciate your understanding.

Maps are available at the Threshing Barn, and we encourage guests to download the Newt App to access our virtual map.

There is no official dress code for visitors within the gardens.

If you need any further help, please do not hesitate to contact our Support Team at The Newt.
